CD ROMs are still an economical means of delivering information - especially if you have large amounts of video, animations or graphics. Many companies now use CD ROMs to publish their product catalogues, due to their high capacity and the lower cost of production when compared with traditional "paper" media.
CD ROMs can be designed to run-from-CD or they can have all or part of their contents installed to a user's system. With computers now having large amounts of hard disk space available, installing to user's systems is not the problem it once was, and has the advantage of being able to be upgraded using data downloaded from the internet.
Authoring involves assessing your needs, creating the content - which may include text, video, graphics and animations - then determining how the product will be assembled.
Programs created for CD ROM may also be run from USB devices (USB Drives or memory sticks) and DVDs.
We are experienced in all aspects of CD-ROM authoring and can arrange for production of the finished item through our associates Independent Software Duplication. (view website)
