How to Edit Your Web Pages
Note: the edit area can be enlarged by dragging the right bottom corner of the edit window, or you can switch to FULL SCREEN mode by clicking the icon on the menu bar.
Text Editing: Text editing is similar to most word processors - you can copy, cut and paste, delete and change text colors and font sizes. Scroll the page to move to the area you want to edit then place your cursor in position and start typing. Remember that, like any word processor, if you have the Insert Key toggled, when you type your text will be inserted and the point of editing, and the remainder of the text will shuffle to the right. If you have your Delete Key toggled, you will overwrite existing text.
Photos: You may replace photos and graphics using the "Insert/edit image" function. A library of photos is contained in the "image" folder on the demonstration site. The photo insert function allows you to browse to this location and select a new photo or graphic. The "file upload" function has been disabled in the demonstration version, however this is enabled on all users' sites to allow editors to upload new images.
When finished editing you can preview your work by clicking the "Preview" button. This will open a new window and present the website in your browser. If satisfied, click on the "save" button to permanently save your changes. If not you can choose the "return to edit" function and continue editing.
Note: In this demonstration version the "save" function will take you through the procedure but will not actually save your changes. When you log out, the original web page will be restored.
You may select another page to edit from the dropdown menu or logout of the editor.
